Scenario

It’s great to see such a luxurious take on a classic novel that I think is very good
I didn’t really have Eddie Redmayne as the Jackal on my bingo card for this year’s broadcast, but here it is. The locations look amazing, the action sequences have been engaging so far, and the performances have been convincing.
On the other hand, it’s always good to see Charles Dance flexing his acting muscles
Like other reviewers, I don’t buy Lashana Lynch as the MI:6 operator and feel she was under-appreciated for the role. Úrsula Corberó is a joy to watch on screen, although I fear she was a little underused.
Otherwise, it’s a great piece of old-school cloak-and-dagger entertainment
