Scenario
After transferring to a new school, a deaf girl, Shoko Nisimiya, is bullied by the popular Shōi Ishida. As Shōya continues to mock Shōko, the class turns away from him. Shoko is transferred, and Shoya grows up to be an outcast. Lonely and depressed, the repentant Shoya finds Shoko to atone for her guilt. “The Silent Voice” is a touching coming-of-age drama that portrays the difficulties of adolescence through memorable characters and beautiful animation.
