When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébet flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America, a mysterious, wealthy client changes their lives forever. Filming lasted a total of 34 days. Shot in Budapest, Hungary and Carrara, Italy.

Harrison Lee Van Buren Sr.: When dogs get sick, they often bite the hand of those who feed them until someone mercifully euthanizes them. There’s no way everyone else saw the same movie I did. Boring script, weird editing, terrible pacing, and literally stupid Powerpoint transitions.
Felicity Jones and Adrien Brody both give better performances
It’s so incredibly long, but there are still unresolved plot points. Not a movie burger that has nothing to say. As far as architecture movies go this year, Megalopolis was at least the more entertaining one.
Unfortunately, I think that was very obvious
