Media specialist Muncie Daniels must fight for her innocence and her life after uncovering a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on TV. Coleman Domingo is becoming my favorite actor. He can make reading the phone book into a truly compelling story. And it’s about as gripping as The Madness is right now. The dialogue is almost embarrassing. They try hard to be strong and engaging, but it’s very predictable and banal. From the start, there are many things in the story that defy even basic common sense. I’m constantly asking myself “why why why?!” So much so that after episode 2 I skipped episode 7 just to see what happens at the end. I’m convinced there’s little more than a lot of over-the-top narration and unnecessary dialogue in the episodes I skipped.
